The Lawrence Welk Show turned The Lennon Sisters into household names. Dubbed "America's Sweethearts of Song," the ensemble charmed fans with music-chart favorites Tonight You Belong to Me and Sad Movies (Make Me Cry). In 2001, The Lennon Sisters were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.
