Norwalk cross country program to hold event

The Norwalk High cross country will host the second annual Carl Van Gordon Fun Run on Saturday, Feb. 19 at the high school. The five kilometer (3.1 miles) race begins at 8:00 a.m. with registration beginning at 7:00 a.m. The cost to run in the race is $10, or $20 if you want a shirt. All proceeds go to the Norwalk cross country and track and field programs. There will be booths selling drinks and food and there will also be a raffle with tickets going for $1.50 each or five for $5. Prizes include a $100 gift card for shoes, Oakley sunglasses and more.
