Freedom Celebration is a 2-day event to celebrate Independence Day, but it is also to celebrate our Dependance on Jesus Christ. The theme for Freedom Celebration is John 8:32 which says “...and the truth shall set you free” ! We feature great music by top Christian Artist such as Leeland, Seventh Day Slumber, Kutless, The Katinas, Evan Wickham, and Shachah. We also have speakers Ebo Elder - Former WBO NABO Lightweight titleholder, IBA Continental Light Welterweight Title, and the WBO Inter-Continental Light Welterweight Title, and Pastor Pancho Juarez, Pastor of Calvary Chapel Montebello. They will be sharing their testimonies and how God set them free from the bondage of sin and transformed their lives. We also feature Color Guard and National Anthem, Extreme Videos, Giveaways, and the night will conclude with a spectacular Fireworks Show both nights.
Admission and parking are FREE!!! Doors open at 5:30 p.m. event begins at 7:00 p.m. Big Wave Dave from The Fish 95.9FM will arrive at 3:00 p.m. so get there early. We are not allowed to bring any food or drinks on the field (except water), however food and drinks are allowed in the bleacher seating. Alcoholic beverages or ice chests are not allowed. Cerritos College will be selling Frantone’s pizza at the snack shack beneath the stands.
